Help no!

You're an intrinsic part of this site, that's like asking if Kirk should stop posting. It must be the crazy weather we are having today (horrible rain in NZ) making you say such crazy things.

I was up in your part of the world the other day, we went out to Kauwau Island on the boat on Saturday (awesome weather that day), man that has got to be one of the most beasutiful places on earth! It didn't occur to me at the time when I was sitting there, that you live in one of those bays just across the water. Anyway keep up the good work.

Dan:-)

Thanks Dan, I won't stop posting in that case
NZ is really beautiful all over, I love the south Island the most(horse country ) but way up north is just a pretty...
We also went out in the boat on saturday after the AMP show (never miss it).Kawaui Island is just in front of us, we may be going there soon in the rubber duck, for some quite fishing as soon as this rain stops, and we get some sun...(just a note for myself to watch out for the snappers cuttingthe boat and me sinking...)
Thanks for your posts also Dan,

Jean

...(As for the rain and wind) the tea trees are bashing into the cottage with the stong winds and I don't know how I'm going to run today, I thought I would go up the Highfield garden reserve and run those steps, anyway horse riding is out for today...

I heard it's the tail end of a tropical cyclone, no wonder it's so rough, or maybe Kirk is playing a gig across the water & blowing up a storm with his slide playing. :-)

I know your area quite well as my mother-in-law lives there, but that's another story & we won't talk about that here.:-( (joke)

Jean is a post *****, Can I say that here?

But I want to also say on the drag racing site I use to go to, people would stay on 24/7 to build up there posts. I mean they would be chatting with each other to build up there post, using it as a chat room.

So you might want to keep an eye on things getting out of control.

And Clancy I need help with my post count, either make it 0 zero or all the way as high as it can go. Thank you

Anti-postcosts

I might have to make me an Avatar protesting post costs.

No you can't - We are trying to keep this a family friendly forum.

Pointless posts will be deleted and members who try to build up posts in that way so they can have access to certain areas or use certain features of the forum will be banned - We have a no tolerance policy where spamming is concerned.

I'm not sure if you are referring to my reply to Alfcarguy Jean, but if you were, I wasn't implying that you were making pointless posts. I was talking about forums in general and the problems that can occur when there are areas of the forum that can't be accessed until members have made a certain amount of posts.

Spammers can reek havoc on a forum in a very short amount of time using this technique, but it is usually pretty clear if somebody is going to be a problem right from their very first post.

Jean, you are a favorite here (you must know that). Everyone loves your posts, they are always positive and upbeat. Please don't feel like you need to cut down on your posts because of this thread, I don't think anyone here wants that

Plus, I'm changing the amount of posts you need to become a Member, a Full Member and a Super Member etc. I'm upping the limit. I only had it set so low when the forum was new but I think it needs to be changed now. So from now on, you need 50 posts to become a member, 300 to become a full member and 1000 to become a super member.

Clancy

Too right nowhere-man. It's pretty easy for someone to up the stakes when they've got almost 400 posts themselves, wouldn't you agree? No sooner had my full membership been achieved and it was swiftly snatched away. We know all woman are evil but it seems those with red hair are the worst of all.

Yeah si16, I'm beginning to think you could be right about redheads. In Clancy's case I'm willing to give her another chance.

Perhaps banning would have been preferable to emasculation. Just kidding I love it here. Allthumbs, you've got plenty of posts to spare. Just name your price.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
