I, for one, would insist upon stringing that guitar up and checking it out to the point I'd tune it, play it, adjust it, then keep it tuned for at least a week to see if the neck was going to move. That's a total crap shoot man; the neck could be gold, it could be junk, you'll never know until you string it up and check it out. If this is an auction and you're buying it sight unseen and not tested this way, I'd pass personally.
