Thanks again,

I'm assuming your using audacity...you import the tune to one track and record your vocals on another, then "export as" and audacity will mix it down for you into a mp3. Same thing recording your own music, record your rythym on one track then lead on another, drums to another and so on until your satisfied then export to file your diddy. I find it easiest to select the option of "play tracks while recording another" then I use headphones covering one ear when I try to do vocals. The main thing IMO is to just get everything on its own track and from there its either just save and let your editing application do its thing or dig right in and start playing around.

You can go much further indepth in mixing but this is just to get started. When your ready to experiment you can cut and paste tracks to change things around if you like, you can add effects to individual tracks or even partial tracks. Its just another learning curve that becomes addictive very easily. ENJOY

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
