After listening to my first take a few more times I've decided that I kind of like the last part the way it is. I'm going to post it as an instrumental. If I have time tonight I'm also going to sing Hilch's lyrics over Kenny's version as well. And maybe stick a bridge in there if I can. I noticed that Hilch left a blank spot between the verses.

I like the name "Almost Blue" but in case we are going to use it for this collab, I'll change mine to Spanish and call it "Casi Azul".

Whoop! Looking at the other thread where a question about pentatonic scales was raised...

Pentatonic Scales - Understanding Diagrams

I realized I made a mistake earlier when I said my take was E Major Pentatonic. It's E minor.

Prob the same Hilch used. Your guitar line is almost rhythmic and sounds good behind the vocals. Maybe if you post a separate track of just your guitar, I can push it more into the background during the bridge.

Here it is fly, sorry for the flubs it was a one take thing, you could always cut and paste what sounds good if you want, or give a me a day or two to do it justice. Whatever you want.

I'm off to work now...hope to hear it when I get home.

Fly, I redid the guitar part and posted it in recordings, heres the newer version if you like it better. I also added the 6.246 seconds of blank space so it lines up right, keep that in mind if you use the original.

Well i got my mic finally. I still have to use the in-line part
1/4 jack it didn't come with that three prog female plug i
think they call it. Anyway can't do to mouch with it till i get
a stand and pop filter.

I used some of hilch's lyrics and added some vocals to this
with the mic. This may not be my best but i tried to fit in the
lyrics best i could. I added some reverb and a touch of compression
cause there was some clipping. Anyway ya still have your
original

Nice tomg, I really had no idea how to incorporate Trev's lyrics, you did a fine job. my only thought is that the vocals sounded a little to up-front to me, could be just me though. I liked the reverb...just right IMO.

Thanks x4, was feelin a bit insecure bout this one.
I toned down the vocals some and didn't compress
this one at all since its not my tune. If ya think
it needs some compression its all yours
