That was sweet fly,
really liked where you took it. I agree on the redo part also, liked your note selections, just not to sure about that effect you chose, just my opinion there. Don't leave that bass of yours collecting dust, wipe it off and let er fly, fly...needs that throaty sound that only comes from a bass.

Oh Kenny. I didn't listen to your first post. I just dropped down and picked up the one with keyboard and drums. Sorry I left out your guitar part, but your keyboard play'n is darn good.
Hilch You're quite the prolific word crafter! Nice job on your version of the tune.
Oh yeah, the needs redo part had all kinds of FX. Chorus, Flanger, Delay, and a Bad Monkey drive'n a Supra Distortion. Anyway, I dialed in a new tone that's less muddy and I've give it a go tomorrow. I wanted a change up in the tone so it's still a lot different than the first half.

No problem fly, thats why I posted it without my guitar, to let you others do as you want.
You might of missed a couple of my posts about the keyboard, This Yamaha has whats called an accompaniment program, it adds the notes that fit to each chord{in short..it plays itself}, all I have to do is select which chord and when and where I want it to play{in real time on my part}...very easy to create with...just didn't want to mislead anyone, my key skills are the same as my guitar...hunt & pick/plunk

One of our daughter's boyfriends gave it a shot last night. He's a pretty good musician. Ryan's always improvising on the piano and acoustic, so I showed him this. This is his second take cold. The first was pretty darn good but it took him about 15-20 sec to get into the groove. Wish I was this good. Anyway it's the $55 Fullerton strat.
Gotta go shopping and make a B'Day cake and dinner part for my youngest who justed turned 17. I hope I can get some guitar play'n in that redo part today. Ryan's a hard act to follow though.

Kenny / Fly
This is what I have came up with ....
The clock is hanging high on our wall
Its ticking and keeping time for us all
Every lonely moment reminds me of you
And all those little things we want to do
I can't wait till you get finally home
Been so long since you've been gone
Darling I miss you as my tears fall like rain
Words can't describe my loneliness or pain
You know my love is here and know its real
You know I love you and you know how I feel
When you finish doing your thing you know where I’ll be
I’ll be in our marble mansion over looking the sea
I asked your sister as to where did you go
She wanted to tell me but she said she didn’t know
I called all your family and all of your friends
No one seems to know darling so is this the end
and a link with me singing

That was the new tone I dialed in for the redo part. Big Muff, mild rotary effect, and a touch of delay.
