Hey Trev,

Thanks for listening!

I rarely ever use the "natural F major chord". Here's an easy way to get that F chord to work.

LC's cheat of the day!

Here's your G Chord. Note which fingers to use

E--------------3(pinky)-----------------
B---------------------------------------
G---------------------------------------
D---------------------------------------
A------2(index)-------------------------
E--------------3(middle)----------------

And the "easy" transition to the F. Just shift your Index and Middle finger as illustrated and add the Ring finger in. This really helps out when your wrist can't contort to that natural F position.

E----------------3(pinky)---------------
B---1(index)----------------------------
G-----------2(middle)-------------------
D----------------3(ring)----------------
A---------------------------------------
E---------------------------------------

And to top it off you can mute the high E string and retain the F chord as well as play the high E string open which gives you a nice Fmaj7 tone.

You can also play the F like this making that nice Fmaj7.

E---------------------------------------
B---1(index)----------------------------
G-----------2(middle)-------------------
D-----------------3(ring)---------------
A-----------------3(pinky---------------
E---------------------------------------

Hope this helps
