Sounds like it does the trick.
I'm not doing anything more at this stage than recording onto my MP3 player and then dragging on my computer. But this is good to know for down the road....
Cubase is basically a recording studio in your computer that you can expand
via VST's and VSTI's (virtual instruments and effects processors).
It is quite expensive... I paid close to 800.00 US $ for the basic software...
The virtual drum machine I use is called GrooveAgent (a VSTI).
