Help Please

Here is a song I am working on I did a snippet of how the song in my head ...
Can anyone help me with music for this ?? Or suggestions how to do a strum pattern ...Help any way possible ??Bold are the lyrics I have sung here

SoundClick song info: Hard Sell vocals by hilch - Song info page with free MP3 music downloads

Lyrics are as follows

Hard sell

Doing the hard sell
Working for the man everyday
Never the soft sell
If I want to earn good pay

I won't ask you
I'll tell you what you really need
I will call you
Just when your going to have your meal

I will annoy you
Just so I can sell my goods
I will pester you
Like a stray cat in the woods

Doing the hard sell
Working for the man everyday
Never the soft sell
If I want to earn good pay

I will push my theme
I will never leave you alone
You will buy my dream
Even when your at home

Give me your credit card
Then I'll be on my way
No need for a security guard
Trust me you will have your say

Doing the hard sell
Working for the man everyday
Never the soft sell
If I want to earn good pay

When I make that deal
I'll be on my way
Some say only thieves steal
You will never remember my name

{ very quietly now whispered}
Doing the hard sell
Working for the man everyday
Never the soft sell
If I want to earn good pay

I don't think so myself Trev, I know thats sounds wrong coming from a guy who doesn't like his own....but I believe when I first joined, you replied to my thinking of my song writing as terrible by saying "we only get better by doing it". I'm posting my crackeling attempts nowadays, taking that advise to heart. Look at it as I do...something to look back on someday and laugh at. I don't care what people think of my voice, as long as their willing to offer tips or what-nots they can laugh all they want...its not over til the fat lady sings, and like in my playing I refuse to give up and hear her!!!!

Hope you don't mind me joining in, I thought the fx took over the song a bit as well and when the voices came together near the end the background voice did take over the lead a bit rather than just coming alongside, the lyrics are strong so the song can survive being stripped down a bit, I'm talking as a listener hilch, I'm not any good at recording yet

Yep, I keep tellin you! Quit covering up your voice! The best song you did was the one with your " little Helper" (dghtr?, Granddghtr?).
It didn't have a lot of effects and your voice sounded much better without it!!!
