I got the "chipmunk" thing on the low-fi version of Young Lust also - the hi-fi version played fine.
You guys sound great, Dewy!

I'll bet I know what happened... I uploaded a 192kb sample, and that may be the problem. I think I remember something about 128 maximum.
Busy today, but I'll look into fixing that, and thanks again for all of the kind words.

Singer / Recording Engineer has forwarded me 4 new tracks, Cheap "SunnyGlasses", Hard T. Handle, Paranoid, and Ain't Talkin bout Love... all with new vocal tracks. I posted them on the same sound click page if anyone is interested.
Hopefully they are FINISHED and we can proceed to shop the demo around. Assuredly they sound better with every little imperfection polished and punched... but at some point you gotta let them go under the demo warning and get busy right?
If I get the other 8 "revocal-ed" and remastered tunes this weekend, I'll post them as well.

Thanks for all of the encouragement, and I have to agree, the Black Crowes tune was sounding pretty decent. Hard to just play one of the guitar lines and fill the song up, easy to over play and make a mess.
The one guitar approach to the cover tunes is certainly challenging, could NOT do it without the confidence bestowed from the rhythm section. But the recordings certainly point to big holes in the songs that aren't apparent at rehearsal or live.
Cheap sunnyglasses is a busy song for one guitarist to cover... I promise!

Thank you Sir Hilch. Practice last night we messed with a few new tunes... some Hootie & the Blowfish, some more Bad Company and some Journey. Hopefully those will come together quicker than the last and I can get some fresh recordings up for you folks to enjoy.
Originals are on the back burner until we get "working"... so I don't think I'll be making the GfB&B radio this month.

Dewy - you guys are soundin' awesome. Great guitar work on all of those. Cheap Sunglasses was my favorite out of all of them. Sounds like you've got a real solid bass player too - I like the way he lays back and doesn't "overplay", but steps up at times to fill the gaps. Can't wait to hear more from Bad Monkey!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
