A grand auditorium is a great way to go. I have the guitar in the picture, and it is very versatile. I initially purchased it for fingerpicking, as I found my Maton was a bit too boomy at times, but the Taylor is now my main acoustic.
I play all sorts of styles on it at gigs, the expression system pickup is very neat, and the guitar really sings.
