Pedal Board Pics

Built my pedal board this weekend. It costs about $25, but plenty of glue, carpet, and outlets left to make another one. The right angle cables I made from connectors I bought off eBay and guitar cable. Put plenty of outlets in the back for wall warts, and a On/Off switch. Looking for a cheap source of velcro now to stick everything down.

Nice board fly. I've been thinking of making one myself, as soon as I stop buying pedals
Are all your pedals powered by one adapter/power source or just some of them? I noticed some fancy plugs that tap into another one on a few of your pedals. One thing I don't want is having to deal with a big pile of AC adapters.I know you can buy units for powering multi pedals, but haven't bothered yet to check them out or the cost.

Krissovo, note taken. I probably will be moving my looper around as well. So I won't stick that down. You gave me an idea. Put a small strip of the fuzzy velcro on each end of hook velcro attached to the pedal. That way the ends shouldn't pull loose.

justlikeplayin, I'm using multiple wall warts. I also have some of them daisy chained with those chainable plugs. I also got the chainable plugs off eBay. The problem is that they are very short and unless you are using all the same kind of pedal they don't work too well. I will be cutting them in the middle and splicing long wires. I have a bunch of 9V adapters so I didn't want to spring a lot of money for the more expensive supplies. As you can see from the photo, my solution is to put a bunch of wall sockets on the back. I can put up to 10 adapters back there and they are all on the switch.

Thanks Skinny and X4. Skinny's right, you can't have too many toys.

$25? Too expensive for me I'm afraid. I paid around £3.50 ($7) for this box.

Actually, that's the lid. I use the box to cover it for transportation.

I know it's not quite as fancy as yours, Fly, but I think you might have a few more woodworking skills than me.

Ben, that'll work and it's a lot more transportable. Mine is more a sandbox for exploration, than a tote able box for gigging. I don't know about woodworking skills but I've got a few tools. I'm been laying laminate floor and trim molding in my house. The table saw made quick work of the main pieces. If you look inside behind the sockets you can even see a strip of laminate that I use as a protector. Ya don't want to stick your toes in the 120V wires.
