The Guitar Gods are smiling on me....

Two guitars in one week! I just picked up this MIM Tele off Craigslist for $215. Real nice shape. Also earlier this week I got the Schecter C1 Diamonds Series with the Dimebag pup upgrade for $150. I sold my Affinity Tele for $100, and I think I can get $125 for my other Affinity Tele. So the total pain this week should come at $140. Here's the pics. The Tele pic is from the ad.

I just got the Ernie Ball pedal and the 1/4" right angle connectors yesterday. That Ernie Ball is built like a tank. Now I can see why they are so expensive. I'll post a pic when I get it done.

It will probably take a little longer now. I jammed my knee really hard Sunday. It's pretty swollen and when I get home from work all I want to do is lay in bed and ice it. Doc appointment tomorrow and I'm hoping it's just soft tissue damage and not any ripped ligaments or tendons.

Oh yeah, I didn't mention this before but last Thursday a Martin D28 went up on the list for $500 right about the time I got off work. That was the same night I went to my daughters play. It was off the list went I got home. If I had skipped the play to get it, it wouldn't have been worth the money as I probably would have been murdered by Ginny anyway.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
