i just picked up a learn to play guns n roses dvd.i went straight to the knockin' on heavens door 1st solo as i'd learnt the rhythm parts a while ago.the instructor started it on the 12th fret.when i picked that note it sounded different even though my guitar was in tune.anyway throughout the whole solo i had to play it a half step lower to sound the same as his.i don't get it
