Week-End Collab.......Anyone?
Hey All
Trev aka "Hilch" posted some cool lyrics that I had a play with at the weekend called weekend(....LOL) and he has kindly allowed me to ask for a collab on this as I love it so much.
Trouble is that I do not do it justice so is anyone up for turning this into something cool.
I suspose what it needs is the following:
Lyrics - Mine are only in for a guideline
Bass - Nice simple or fancy bass line
Intro - Possibly a a nice arpegio style with the bass line before drums
Solo - Who wants to blast some cool rock licks out?
2nd Guitar part - the riff needs some highlighting maybe?
I have attached two files one is just guitar and drums and the other has my poor voice on it with my interpretation. There are no rules, you can be good, great or a noobie like me just as long as you have fun with it.
Come on lads, give it a go.

Well, at last. I just finished the solo. I hope you like it guys. I was really tempted to add some phrasing all over and some vocals but i just didnt have the time today
The song reminded me "Owner of a lonely heart" and i was planning to add some words behind the "week-end" chorus. Anyone have any sugesions about what to sing on the back?

Awesome playing GT. You guys are Rockin it!!!
Side-step...
Now I was having a flash back to the ol micro-dot and black-lite days and once again stepped over my boundries upon your guys turf and since I had the keyboard powered....well....lets say this{my take} probably sounded good back in those days..{under said conditions}
I don't mean to be rude or unappreciative of your guys collab...really...this has been helping my hearing move a little bit ahead. Its a challenge to find something that "could" go with something when I really have no idea what I'm doing to begin with...hope that made sense. I just find the whole "beat/rhythm" of this tune so cool, I can't resist trying.

Man, what a fun collab that was! It's on my iPod, and I also burned it to a CD which is currently taking up permanent residence in my truck's CD player.
We gotta do more of these!

Are the lyrics already written out, or is this finished now? It does sound great....I just wanted to maybe add some background vocals to it, if it's not too late.
