Week-End Collab.......Anyone?

Hey All

Trev aka "Hilch" posted some cool lyrics that I had a play with at the weekend called weekend(....LOL) and he has kindly allowed me to ask for a collab on this as I love it so much.

Trouble is that I do not do it justice so is anyone up for turning this into something cool.

I suspose what it needs is the following:

Lyrics - Mine are only in for a guideline
Bass - Nice simple or fancy bass line
Intro - Possibly a a nice arpegio style with the bass line before drums
Solo - Who wants to blast some cool rock licks out?
2nd Guitar part - the riff needs some highlighting maybe?

I have attached two files one is just guitar and drums and the other has my poor voice on it with my interpretation. There are no rules, you can be good, great or a noobie like me just as long as you have fun with it.

Come on lads, give it a go.
Attached Files
File Type: mp3 Week-End version no vox.mp3 (4.15 MB, 28 views)
File Type: mp3 Week-End version2.mp3 (4.15 MB, 34 views)

That sounds even better, X4, love that! Kriss, ya know, your vocals are really fitting this song, it's mine that don't quite mesh right!~~~

Good work Kenny I can almost listen to myself. I was playing along with this last night and broke out the wah pedal. I will see if I can record some and add it

I really like that 'verb on Kriss' vocals....fattens them up and gives them a real cool sound.

Thanks Doty,

To all you collaborators on this...

I'm not done trying to improve it, just slow going while I learn as I go....I think what I'll do now is, keep playing with it and in a week or two if anything comes of it I'll post it for review. Any suggestions with my new starting point being the last post{321weekend} I don't have a developed ear as you may have already guessed, so any input will be a help, ie...what you liked or didn't. I swear, one minute it sounds good the next it sounds so-so...is this just me?
