Homeward

This song could be about anyones long journey to reach their goal, or just a romantic story about someone coming home. The person taking the journey can be male or female, whatever you're comfortable with. It's not exactly cheery, but it's not sad either!
I hope you like it.

John

Thanks for giving this a second airing Strat, it's really very nice to know you like it so much.

Thank s Tom.

Thank you Keith, I can recall being worried when I realised I'd posted this song with the same name as yours -Your 'Homeward' was on the radio at the time.
I needn't have worried - you were an absolute gentleman about it.

Thank you Sleepy

Thanks a lot John I suppose it's because we don't want others to see how fragile we really are.

Just listened to this for the third time, as usual I love it. I've just finished listening to the Strawbs, who I haven't listened to for ages, and I honestly believe that you're up there with Dave Cousins. I hope you think of that as a compliment!
Great work Jomi.
Ian
p.s. do you think a bit of rapping at the end might help?
(just kidding)

Absolutely haunting Jomi! It really touches something at my very core. I really enjoyed listening to it, and did so several times!

Great post, Jomi! Really enjoyed that. It would sound great with some strings in the background. (The producer in me can hear all sorts of things)

Great emotive piece.

Thank you very much Jim, I just finished listening to 2 versions of your "Time Changes Everything" - beautiful.
One of the reasons I tend not to use multi-track recording (apart from vocals and guitar) is that one day I hope to get over my pathetic nervousness and play for a live audience, if and when that happens I want to be able to reproduce the tune as you hear it now.

I can't believe that you're nervous about playing in front of an audience, I'm awful and I have no stage fright at all, even with singing...and my singing is truly bad! Maybe confidence doesn't come from talent, but from somewhere else; arrogance, self belief, drunkenness or even nerves. You're good enough to play in front of any audience. I saw Chris De Burgh support Black Sabbath at Newcastle City Hall when I was young, where did his confidence come from?

It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
