I don't have too much problem with that list, although I very much question Elton John being considered "rock". He's far more pop than rock (heck of a musician and songwriter, though). All of those listed have very distinctive voices and that is likely the biggest driving factor. As Stratrat said, these things aren't meaningful- I personally would kick Jim Morrison out- never cared for the Doors as a group, and Morrison's singing never really impressed me that much.

I don't have a problem with the top 3. Wonder where Ozzy is on the list?
