I haven't found it to be so easy. Improvement coming slowly but surely I think. Here is a flawed ending example.

can I ask what chords you were using there?

I played in in the key of G. Put simply, you make the key of D and move your fingers up to the 7th fret. From there it's just scales and chords. I can only play by ear so that's about as far as I can go in explaination.
