There are at least three different ways you can include quotes in your post. Easiest is probably to just click the orange button at the bottom right of the post you want to quote that says "Quote", then go into it and delete the part you don't want (for a partial quote). I usually add an ellipsis (...) at the beginning and/or end to show that there originally was more text than what I quoted.
Another way is to highlight the text you want to quote, right-click on it and choose 'Copy' (or push Ctrl+C), then click where you want it in the body of your post, right-click and choose 'Paste' (or push Ctrl+V).....now click & drag to highlight it, then go up to the little toolbar in the posting window above your text and click on the far right icon on the second row that looks like a text balloon (if you hover your mouse over it, it will say "Wrap QUOTE tags around selected text". If you want to add the person's name to the quote (i.e. attribute it to the poster), go into the initial brackets where it says {QUOTE} (I had to use different brackets than the [ ] or it would mess it up), and change it so it says {QUOTE=knight46}. The difference looks like this - first just using QUOTE, then using QUOTE=knight46:

Another way to do it is just to type {QUOTE} and {/QUOTE} at the beginning and end of the text you want to quote (using the
[ ] brackets). If you want to include the original poster's name, do it the same as above - just type {QUOTE=knight46} instead of {QUOTE} at the beginning. So, to do the above quote I used for an example, you'd type
{QUOTE=knight46}This is a test.{/QUOTE} - again, using the [ ] brackets instead of the { } brackets.
Kinda lengthy to explain, but easy to do!
