Hi Jessica,
The edge III bridge is a floating Floyd Rose. It must be in perfect balance and body alignment to work properly.
My suggestion is to take it to a tech and have it set-up for whatever gauge strings you want to use.
I tried for two days to adjust one for a friend and still couldnt get it perfect.
Techs have the know how, experience and tools to do it right. Also have the tech check your saddles for sharp edges that could be causing string breakage.
