Well, I've been trying to get barre chords down. Fingering, not getting a muffled sound. Oh so hard.
I just read an article on Lindsey Buckingham, (Fleetwood Mac) and he said he hasn't got barre chords working either.
Which is encouraging to know. You think your idols know it all about the guitar. However here is one admitting like many of us beginners they still have things to learn.
So I don't feel so bad about not getting these barres working.
Don't be afraid to find your own sound, explore the guitar. Enjoy it, I do when I get a chance to pick it up.
One song I really like is Imagine, John Lennon, (no barres) still, just can't quite get the sound. Trying finger picking, maybe Kirk has a nice Imagine one. hmmmm, maybe copyright might not allow it on the site anymore.........
