Who is up for a challenge ???

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/song...songID=5291388

Vocal track for a song I wrote ,,,

I am no singer and I aint no guitarists either but thought it would be fun to see if anyone was interested in makeing some noise with me ..

Hey I can re-do the vocals as I did make a mistake in this one anyway ..

I've never done mixing either but hey only one to learn ...

Don't be shy or I may have to do it all by myself and that would be just terrible ...

I sing better than I play , so you get my drift I am a very ordinary guitarist ...

The lyrics are here

Everybody lies
But not everybody
Cries

Your white lies
Make crying eyes
Your bigger lies
Destroy our lives

Think before you speak
Gossip cuts so deep
Rumours can end us all
Don't take your bat and ball

Everybody lies
But not everybody
Cries

Not everybody cries

I won't stand your rot
Honest you are not
You say what I want to hear
When you leave we will all cheer

There is no horse or cart
Say the words from your heart
Don't tell those deceitful lies
I won't be the one who cries

Everybody lies
But not everybody
Cries

Not everybody cries

Trev,
Maybe you should try singing it in a way you had In mind. It might shed a lite on how you planned to do it. Send me an email if you don't want anyone to hear it yet.

Trev,
I listened to your song file. Your streching your voice. It does not work for you. Thats why I went down in each verse.

Are you able to follow the chords I laid out just as simple strummimg ? Basic C D G

Thanks Skinny

Eddie really did have a feel for those lyrics hey ..

It is a rather sad subject that the song is about , and very personal to me Eddie knows what the song is all about and he really poured alot of emotion into this , which I am very greatful for ..

Trev...

LMAOOO I so wanna do that chipmunk version...I can get those two backup girls again (didn't exactly fire them, yes, but only by telling them, "I'll call ya...") but they really do make great chipmunks!

Eddie, is that you singing, or did I miss something here? It's really good!

LOL Trev! Now HOW does a monkey sound like a chipmunk....?

Oh, you're thinking, a chipmonkey...LOL

I haven't added anything to this song yet because of my focus on other ones we've got going, but the gray matter is cogitating on it.
