Oddly enough, I love 80s-90s alternative. Mostly 80s, though.
By far, my favorite band is Depeche Mode. Counting unofficial releases, remix albums, singles and so forth, I have over 100 DM albums. Other faves in that genre are The Smiths, Erasure, B-52s, REM, 10,000 Maniacs, OMD, Oingo Boingo, The Housemartins, etc. etc.
Having said that, I also loves me some AC/DC. For my money, there's still no better music to make your ears bleed with. I also like bluegrass quite a bit, especially live.
So yeah, a little of everything here too.
I read somewhere that learning to play was a sort of negotiation between you and your guitar. I now believe it.
So much to learn, so many callouses to build.™
