Featured Recording of the Week

Since the re-vamped forum has been up and running, some of you may have noticed the new banner we have up the top of each page "Featured Recording of the Week" ...well it really is pretty self explanatory, but the idea is that each week we will be choosing one song submitted to our Recording Booth forum and featuring it for the week.

Last week we chose the hauntingly beautiful "Hug me like you care" by a relatively new member Jomi. If you haven't had the chance to have a listen, do yourself a favour and have a listen here.

For this weeks Featured Recording of the Week, we thought we would choose something totally different and decided on Rockerbob's "Wide Open"... check it out here if you haven't already. Don't be fooled by the title of the thread "Gentle Spring Guitar Melody" it's about as far away from that as you can get!

Enjoy... and thanks to everyone who continues to contribute to the Recording Booth Forum.

Clancy

I would also like to thank our moderators for listening and in help of making this as a choice for the feature recording.
And our other members for their replies all greatly appreciated.

Father and son in 'featured recording', is that a first?
Great job both of you and well deserved, fabulous song.

When all else fails, read the instructions.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
