I like them all except SOAD.
Goin to California is my favorite Zep song.
Pink Floyd rules- See the floyd video "Pulse"(not sure if it was ever released on DVD, I have the tape)
I have "Nevermind" in my deck as we speak.
Not mentioned but a very favorite of mine is Steely Dan.

I'll second that Jim. Sometimes the lyrics can be a bit cryptic but very adventurous musically, often use fourths for the bass part, lots of chord extensions, yet still they still produce cathchy and melodic tunes. Some of my favourites are Reelin' in the Years (of course), Home at Last, East St. Louis Toodle-oo and Bad Sneakers (great solo).

Its amazing the number of people that play this with all manner of chord shapes other than the ones that Blackmore actually plays and he picks it thumb & finger rather than any plectrum style power chords.

No doubt Nirvana rock. It's often the simpler things in life that are most enjoyable, no?
Gotta love the Ramones although I haven't heard lots of them.
Hendrix.... What a man!!! Say no more.
Pink Floyd, same opinion as Ramones.
Zeppelin is simply timeless. Will always will be great to rock to.
SOAD not quite my cup of tea but some lethal tracks without doubt.

Anybody out there into Bloc Party? Silent Alarm is definitely my favourite album at the moment!!! Arctic Monkeys sound promising for 2006. Check out some previews here: http://www.arcticmonkeys.com/

I love all music. Some artists have bad songs but you can't judge them on a few stinkers. One of my favourite bands is Zeppelin, my second is Metallica, I like they're playing ability but then again I'm just a beginner so any kind of play ability is amazing to me. Right now I'm trying to learn Fade To Black by Metallica. Its one of the first songs I'm trying to learn. I also like Gin and Juice by phish. They took it from Snoop Dogg which I think is hilarious because they made it sound REALLY hick. Which is cool... by the way, this is my first post on this site... haha... well... peace

Personally I love music in general. Mainly all rock 60's to current date. As my name states I am a big fan of System of a Down. Truly there is almost one great song if not many by every band or composer. I don't really judge a band by it's songs because every band I have listened to, I have liked in some way whether it be many songs or just one song.
