I'm looking forward to the videos. I just could never get used to using a thumb pick. I tried, but...I guess it's all a matter of how we learned.

If anything just know that the rhythm patterns involved, even though they do make the 'assumption' that a flatpick is being used, are pertinent for any style of picking or strumming. They just present many of the different rhythm styles 'out there'. Definitely not all....I look at a musical measure and see a blank canvas that can be painted rhythmically in any manner I choose...
