My most personal

Go in peace in memory of Steve M.

Why did you go and leave us
what was going on in your head
was the pain to much to handle
was it something I might have said

Now your not here to explain this
the reasons we'll never know why
the question will always be with me
why did you want to die

I can't understand why you did this
to guess just wouldn't be fair
maybe to you it didn't matter
but damn-it I really did care

It's going to be tough without you
your friendship I surely will miss
I pray that your feeling much better
may you be embraced by God with a kiss

Goodbye my friend I will miss you
our time together ended to soon
so it's your name that I'll call out
when I see a face in the moon

Suicide sux...I wrote this back in Dec. 2000, My neighbor, My friend

Hi

Always a tough thing to deal with and my thoughts are with you ..This takes a lot guts to write about something like this I take my hat off to you ..

Very tough assignment to write about not to mention dealing with ..

I will mention one thing about this ..I'm not a religious man myself and each to their own is my motto , but wow mate this really hits home this line for me

"may you be embraced by God with a kiss "

Nice writting

Thanks guys, sorry to drop a downer like that, but he would've had another b-day this month and it got me to thinking about him again. This month is when the walleye start running and he was my fishing partner for years, so it/he always comes to mind this time of year.

Kinda believe in the best writing comes from personal experiences. This was a tough one because we would sit in the boat together for hours on end, and talk about any and everything, to this day I still haven't a clue as to what was bothering him.

Thanks again for taking the time to look it over, means a lot...Thanks

Thanks YouToo, I appreciate the thoughts. I hope I have'nt given the wrong impression
I'm not depressed per-say, it's just one of a number of flashbacks I get now an then. It is depressing when I dwell on it, but there has been 6 some years past since then and I've come to the conclusion that life's to short to spend it all depressed.

So we just keep strumming along and enjoy what we have...Peace to you all
