My Guitars.....

OK, here's a couple of pics of my guitars.....

L to R, Freshman Bass - cheap, but a decent bass for the price, and it never goes out of tune....Squier Strat - sold it when I got the guitar on it's right, Squier Custom tele....I LOVE that guitar, it just feels so right in my hands......

L to R, Cheapish freshman 12-string - sold it because I never had the time to play it....Yamaha Acoustic, nice guitar, I bought it because the Encore to the right of it didn't have a cut-away...and the Encore EA255, I'll never get rid of that because the Mrs bought it as a surprise present.....

I got rid of the Yamaha when I bought this....

it's a beautiful guitar, cost me $200 off a guy who bought it off a guy on e-Bay - I picked it up on holiday in Texas, the very same night i played my first open mic.....

I don't know what it is - but here's a couple more pics. If anyone can throw any light onto the origins of this guitar, I'd be grateful.....

Anyone got a clue?

I haven't - I've googled it a few times, got nowhere....it's a mystery guitar....

Hi Vic,
Your mystery guitar looks like a Taylor 910c, 912c or 914c or ???ce if it has electrics, it's just my guess, but I nearly bought one for a LOT more than $200.
You can have a look at the 912ce for yourself at the taylor guitars website, the forum wouldn't let me post the url but you'll find it easy enough.

Nice guitar collection,

John

Yeah - they look similar, but the head stock shape is slightly different. Also , the 910 is more of a dreadnaught shape than the SPT guitar.
Do any of the Taylors have sound hole cut outs in the sides like the SPT does? Pretty nice touch.

Aaah, sound hole cut outs, I didn't spot those, no I don't think taylors have them.

Nice collection!

Could the guitar be a crafter?

The inlays of this crafter looks pretty similar to your mistery guitar..

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
