Bought a New Guitar - Played Asturias

Hope you like it, I bought a Raimundo 610E

Plays real well. There are a couple of little mistakes in the piece, but I felt I played it quite well overall given the difficulty level of the piece.

I have also not learnt the turn around at the end so it ends a few bars early, good chordal piece to learn that I am looking forward to having a crack at.

Any advice comments welcome, I think the level is slightly too high for some of the louder parts, but its late and it was on the fly recording.

That was great Fong. That's a very difficult piece. Too bad you finished early as I was enjoying listening to it and looking forward to the repeated first section.

The only advice I can offer is to be careful to let the melody in the first few bars flow. At first I thought it started off a little mechanical (nerves?) but then it began to flow just fine right up to the end of the recording (not the end of the piece, as you short-changed us )
Well done!

Fong,
That was great. If you made some mistakes then it did'nt matter, I was too busy listening to the overall piece. and Bravo to you. And welcome to the forum.

Thanks all.

I just learnt the ending under pressure Fretsource

But I am still missing a section that is particularly tricky, but atleast I can end it properly.

Fantastic Fong! I had a look at the tabs, then watched Segovia play it on youtube and now realise just how difficult Asturias is.
Pretty sure I'm goin' to consign it to the too hard basket. Well done!
