hey baretta...

What a great tune. You know The Fab Four unknowingly were masters before their time or rather at exactly the right time. Their sense of lyrics and melody is, in my book, unrivaled even today.

And by the way, don't let me or anyone stop you from posting your music! By all means, post I Should have Known Better.

Les

Nice Baretta.
Your stuff is so darn good and polished I'm hesitant to post my amateurish plunking and warbling! But, then again, it's great to learn from folks like you who are well along on their musical journey. Thanks for the post about your recording tips, by the way.

What can I say...another one of my all time fave Beatle tunes. And you nailed it!!!
It amazes me how these guys stand the test of time. I think of 60s songs (and
there were many classics) and then I think that the Beatles were in that era and
seemed to be in a class completely by themselves.
LC is completely correct when he says they were ahead of their time. He is also
correct by saying don't worry if someone posted a song first...we are all
friends here and we enjoy hearing each of our renditions. We had a Folsom Prison Blues frenzy here a while ago and it is interesting to hear the different takes.
This is the beauty of this forum...no ill will

Please don't be put off by my postings I'm just pleased that all you musicians at whatever level appreciate them. I feel very honoured at the comments I receive from you guys. I've been recording and playing a long time so they should be reasonable by now. Anything I can pass on to help will be a pleasure.

Thanks Les I will post it eventually, got a few more to choose from yet and still working on others. In fact have you seen the link for the blues backing tracks (22 in all) I'm going to nick one of those and do two songs with the same backing just for fun. High Heel Snekers and Got My Mojo Working. Just got to put the lead vocal and guitar on. At the moment I keep finding myself playing the same riffs in both songs.....my brain hurts!!
