Hi guys, please help me out. I bought a Little Martin LXME (acoustic-electric guitar) for my daughter a few weeks back without testing the electronic piece of it before I left the store. So I bought an adapter (

I plugged the adapter into the guitar, and plugged the headphone into the adapter, but there's no sound??? i also tried to plug in a small speaker into the adapter, still no sound??? Am I doing something wrong?
