Give one of Kirk's lessons a try is what I would suggest. I think "House of the Rising Sun" might be a good starting point.
or google Mississippi John Hurt's tab of "shake that thing" ..its a cool tune based all around an open G-chord. You will however need to know how to "pinch" 2 notes at the same time to play this one.
