HI everyone. Thank you for the very warm welcome. 7 strings arent really that different, It was awkward at first, but the chord and scale possibilities are immense. I by no means am an expert even on the 6 string...but i like the way that low B string sounds.
It actually doesn't take you that long to get the hang of it. Once you get used to the wider neck, basically you are good to go
Did you know that Ibanez now are making 8 strings?? Madness!!
