Yeah. I saw that vid of the Namm demo. I don't know if you are all aware of this but, there is definitely a bias of strat players against teles and visa versa. In fact when I bought a tele clone, many of my strat playing friends accused me, laughingly, of crossing over to the dark side. My point is that hardened strat players and tele players will avoid it like the plague. It is also a lot more expensive than a variax which has a lot more guitar models to choose from.. I personally think it is going to be a flop sales wise.
