Just wanted to sat hi.Been banging on stringed instruments for about 25 years.Just decided to get into
slide and discovered your forum.think maybe you guys can help me alot.My equipment is as follows:ES335,Strat,Alverez Yari acoustic,62 Fender Jazz Bass and a brand new Rouge Triolion copy that is so cool.I must have gotten a good one because it rings like a bell and just seems to get better the more i play it.Looking for the perfect bottleneck slide at the moment.I,ve collected some very promising bottles but haven't figured out how to cut them.I've tried glass cutters.diamond hack saw blades, the "tie the wax string light it dunk in cold water" method and nothing seems to give a satisfactory result.Has anyone heard of using a wet saw? The kind used to cut ceramic tile.Any help or advise in this area would be greatly appriciated.
Thanx
