If you have the equipment for it, the best way to do it is to mic the amp. Do you have a mic and either a small mixer or a mic preamp?

If you don't have a mic and mixer/preamp then the next best way is to plug the pod straight into your soundcard. POD's have the speaker simulators, but don't quite compare to a real amp. In this case plug the POD into the line input on your soundcard (the signal coming out of the POD is at line level). If you want to record your POD in stereo, you can take the right and left outputs from the POD into a stereo Y-adaptor and go into the line in (which is also stereo). The two female ends should be 1/4" to connect to the POD and the male end should be 1/8" to connect to the computer.
