Glad you enjoyed it. For the percussive bit, I was doing what I call 'chucks' like Jack Johnson. All I was doing was doing a downstrum and not letting any strings ring (or that's what I was trying to do
). I used all of my fingers (as opposed to thumb) to strum it and then my thumb and fingers to mute straight after the downstroke. After the down stroke, I tried to get my fingers straight back into my picking pos'n (which is ala Travis - thumb bass, three fingers for trebles). I did mean that I couldn't anchor my pinkie though, which I'm not used, too.
