Go to several guitar stores and try out some guitars. Read reviews on the net. Do some research. What are the players you admire playing. Go to Ebay and look at axes in your price range just to see what is out there. Buying a guitar is much like buying a car. Same questions apply. How much do you want to spend? What function do you want it to fill.
