Lets hear it for the noob's

Ok noob's

Any other noob's feel like pushing the boat out and see what we come up with? I am kind of thinking that a noob in this case would be under 18 months of playing or even someone playing longer but might lack a bit of confidence or if you feel better suited with likes of my crap playing over Cshude, RockerBob, Icjones and GT to name a few of the greats on here.

I think most of us noobs are into blues so again maybe lets try something bluesy in "E" as in easyer than the rest.

Again lets build this from the ground up so we would need for starters:

Drums
Bass line
Lead Guitar
Rhythm Guitar
Acoustic rhythm Guitar
Singers
Home recording guru
Horn Section (I can but try)
Sax (hmmmm I really am pushing now)
Cheerleaders (doesnt have to be noob's)
Motivators

This will be a mellow collab with a view of pushing ourselves a little bit further so let me know if you are up for it.

Here's 2 uploads, one with the backtrack (A1) and one without (A2) its just unpluged acoustic strumming so if it fits ok, if not that fine i still liked playing it. Its also not my best playing but its ok i guess. Anyway things may change so i'll wait. The A2 one you have to wait about 20 seconds for the playing to start

Hi everyone, I'd like to join the collaboration, I think this is a great idea, I always wanted to try to start one, so I'm glad they created the subforum for it. I don't play a lot of blues but I know the blues scale so I gave it a shot. Also when I downloaded the backing noticed it was stereo, the left channel was the bt, but on the right channel it sounded like a lot of reverb, so I made it mono and reposted it. I gave the BT a shot and posted it to hear what I sound like. I was reading over the thread and I think we should discuss the format of the song, like the into, ending, how many verses and how many solos. I liked fly135's rendition b/c it was real edgy.

If you learn how to play songs, then you learn songs. If you learn how to improvise, then you learn music.

Yeah, let's get this thing going again!

Kriss, you willing to take the reins again and get it organized? We've got plenty of contributors now - at least 3 or 4 of us with basses, as many (or more!) guitarists, a couple of vocalists.....we should be able to get something together here. Let's get back on track and see what we come up with!

"I wish I could play that fast - then I would have the option of not doing that."
