Introduction to Strumming
An overview of the art of strumming. I look at picks, discuss the basics and show you how time signatures are counted.

Strumming 4/4 time 8th feel
4/4 time in eight notes. This is probably the most common feel, the most basic of all time signatures. I start out easy and get more complex, combining up strokes and down strokes. You should feel free to follow along on your own guitar. A 9:10 minute video.

 
Strumming 4/4 time triplet feel
In this video I explain and demonstrate what a triplet feel is. This is when you make the music 'swing'. This is a very common feel. You should feel free to follow along on your own guitar. A 2:16 minute video.

Strumming - 3/4 time - Waltz feel
This video teaches what a waltz is, otherwise known as 3/4 time. This is also a common time signature. A 3:04 minute video.
 
Strumming - Palm Muting
This is a very common way to add dynamics to your strumming. It's a simple technique but one that needs a lot of practice. I go into the subject in some detail in this video. A 5:00 minute video.

Bending

Fretboard Notes
In this video you will hear me play all the notes, from the lowest E on the thick string to a high A on the thin string. You will also be able to see in the animation how one string takes over from the other and how most notes have multiple positions, up to 4 in some cases.
